Hey it’s Matt guys,
Recently the Black Keys won the award for their Breakthrough video Tighten Up. When they received the award it said Black Eyed Peas. They told everyone about this mix up. MTV then apologized for their printing error.
The Black Keys were then thanked for their patients and their understanding in this situation by MTV.

This to me was a terrible mix up I think that Black Keys should have sued MTV for this. I know that’s a little harsh but understand this if you worked hard to make something I think you should receive credit properly. I might have never had this happen to me but I think that we have all won awards, and I don’t think that you would enjoy getting an award that had the wrong name on it. If there is more on this you would like to know on this click the link or ask if your just that lazy ( even though it would actually be more work for you to ask me.)
I think that truly would suck for the Black Keys, but i dont think they should sue. It was a common mistake, and i dont think any average person wants to be sued for a printing error. They apologized, and the Black Keys still had won an award which should make them happy. They should be thrilled that they won an award, but not be superficial about a printing error
ReplyDeleteThat is hilarious! Poor black keys, that would truly suck if you got an award that was meant for you but said the name of an entirely different band.
ReplyDeleteHAHAHAHA.
ReplyDeleteits not much of a "messes up" story, it's more of a "everyone laugh, it would make a good story in the future"... and there's always that weird person who doesn't laugh, and the other one says, "TOO SOON." haha its still funny.
AND TODAYS MRS. YOUNGS early BIRTHDAY!! hurray..
Wow that's really interesting! I didn't even hear about that, thanks for the info! Cool story.
ReplyDeleteWow, I needed a laugh like that! Thanks for that cool commentary.
ReplyDeleteBTW, it's spelled patience. Patients refers to people in a hospital.

It's a funny mistake. That is a common mistake to to spell a name wrong. Suing would be a little much, they got them to apologize that should have been enough, they got the credit for it. It's easy to have the name changed.
